GEPE 2025 welcome special sessions on new or emerging topics related to green energy and power engineering as well as cross-disciplinary research. Special session proposal is highly encouraged.

The special session proposal should contain the following information:

• A short description (2-3 lines) & covered topics.
• Brief biographies of session organizer(s) and chair(s).
• Tentative papers with title, authors, and short abstract.
• List of invited speakers (when available).

Special session proposals will be evaluated immediately upon submission. Accepted special sessions will be listed on the website and will have designated channel for submission.

Deadline for Special Session Proposals submission: May 5, 2026

Requirements

• Each organized session should have a minimum of 5-6 papers, including invited papers and contribution papers related to the topic.
  
• Each session is limited to no more than 2 organizers and the session organizer can designate a chair and a co-chair for the session.
• Each registered author is limited to presenting no more than 2 papers.
• Invited speaker should be dr. and above. Invited speaker may not present more than one Invited Paper.
• The allocated presentation time is 20 minutes for invited papers and 15 minutes for contributed papers that includes the time for questions from the audience.

Duties of the special session organizer

1. Collect high-valued technical contributions by directly contacting the colleagues working in the proposed research field.
2. Remind your invitees to submit their papers directly to your session using the online submission system.
3. You are kindly requested to supervise the review of papers in your session.
4. Please remind the author to pre-register the papers in your session, only registered paper will be scheduled in the program.
